Felstead Court Flyers

Being an owner of a racehorse is now more accessible than ever and not expensive as you might think. Offering 10% shares, the Felstead Court Flyers syndicate keeps membership numbers small meaning you can enjoy more trips to the races and regular visits to the famous Lambourn gallops to watch your horse work. In 2016, Felstead Queen, became the first horse to run in the colours of the Felstead Court Flyers. We now have two horses for 2017, Lady Morel, a 2014 Bay Filly by Arcano ex Heart’s Desire and Felstead Knight.

Felstead Knight

Tough As Nails Ex Fine Day, Bay Colt, 2015

An exciting prospect for the new season, Felstead Knight, was purchased at the 2016 Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale. Bred for speed, he is making excellent progress at this early stage and he’s all set to be a promising two-year-old.

With a winning debut at Curragh, TOUGH AS NAILS, was “one of the most precocious high class two years in Ireland in 2011”. Following up with a win in a conditions race in Tipperary, a second in both the Marble Hill Stakes and Railway Stakes and a third place in the Phoenix Stakes. His famous sire, Dark Angel, had an excellent record as a two year old before retiring to stud as a very successful stallion- producing winning two year olds such as Estidhkaar, Mecca’s Angel and Sovereign Debt.

The Darley bred, FINE DAY, has produced two winners from 4 runners. Her sire, FANTASTIC LIGHT, was a Group winning horse including four Group/Grade 1 contests, the Tattersalls Gold Cup, the Prince of Wales’s Stakes at Royal Ascot, the Irish Champion Stakes (beating Galileo) and the Breeders’ Cup Turf at Belmont Park.
